Frequently Asked Questions
Can I supply my own alcohol in my marquee?
No alcohol is to be bought into the premises. All alcohol is to be purchased from the general bars located on the grounds or ordered through the Jockey Club. You are able to supply your own soft drink and water – however this must be in cans or plastic bottles – NO GLASS ALLOWED
How and when do I order my alcohol through the Jockey Club?
Alcohol must be ordered by 10th June 2021, at D’Aquino’s Parkes Cellars, 44 Dalton Street, Parkes. No full strength beer or spirits are permitted (no glass is allowed onto the grounds). Your order and bags of ice will then be delivered to your marquee the morning of the event (please ensure that your eski’s are in your marquee the night before the event so they can be filled with your alcohol purchases). Tax invoice from the Parkes Jockey Club will be sent to the email address provided in the application.
Can I take home any alcohol left over from my tent?
Yes you are able to collect any alcohol left over from the day that you have purchased for your tent the following morning after the races as this is a RSA requirement of the Parkes Jockey Club. Alcohol cannot be collected until the following day.
